The Company for Theory and Computation
Examorphic is a research company. We study difficult problems in the physical and life sciences by combining physical theory with large-scale computation.
An institute, organised as a company
Universities have institutes in which theorists and computational scientists work together on the same problems. Some of the largest simulations in science, including simulations of the formation of galaxies, were carried out in such institutes. Examorphic originated in this tradition and is organised in the same way, as a private company.
The science is the product
We develop our own computational platforms. They are proprietary and are used only within the company. The product of Examorphic is the science obtained with them, which consists of physical models, quantitative predictions and discoveries.
How results are shared
Results reach other organisations through publication, licensing, industrial partnerships and government research programmes.

One example from biotherapeutics
A spatially resolved model of protein aggregation in concentrated antibody solutions
We have developed a physical model of protein aggregation at the concentrations used in antibody formulations. Its predictions were compared with published measurements on a monoclonal antibody.
